3 Dudes & Dinner

Before the likes of DoorDash and Grubhub, 3 Dudes & Dinner set out to provide online meal ordering. With a rotating menu of chef-inspired dishes made from locally-sourced ingredients, the ordering system needed to accomodate new menu items weekly, as well as provide options such as pre-scheduling, same-day carryout, and special discounts. Offering online ordering to a non-urban market in the mid-2010s also required presenting the concept and 3 Dudes' unique selling proposition in a clear, easy-to-understand way.

To sort things out, Artonic worked with 3 Dudes & Dinner through a collaborative Information Architecture process that provided an overview of the business concept, fleshed out the ordering process, and mapped out the website hierarchy — all prior to developming a prototype/wireframe. This not only allowed for better user experience (UX), but it also streamlined the development process.
